'Happy Feet'- The Game
  • Large Title- bright primary colours immediatley identifying young/child audience- colours attract their attention
  • Large image of feature of the game- happy expression- evokes happy feelings if the game is purchased
  • Brand Name- clearly identified at the top of the game- 'Playstation 2'- playstation logo displayed- world re-known and easily recognisable
  • Age range displayed clearly in the corner- no mistakes to purchase for age not suitable
  • Warner Bros logo displayed-endorse the game
  • Game appeals to kids through the nature of the film, colours which are bright and fact that its a movie turned into a game so those who see the film are enticed to buy the game

  • Large masthead- Q covered by Cameron Diaz's head- emphasises popularity and recognition of the magazine
  • Cameron Diaz- celebrity endosement- showing off her clevage- sex appeal- conforms to the male gaze- immediately identifies men as target audience
  • Article in top right-hand corner- appeals to men- magazine evokes aspirational sense to buying it- you can look like this and get this women
  • 'Look sharp, live smart'- message of the magazine- message it sending to readers
  • Diaz main feature on front cover- she sells the magazine

'The Sun Newspaper'

  • Large Masthead- reader immediately aware of the paper
  • Price clearly marked- 30p and also the date and website are evident to allow readers to access information by other means
  • Colour of numner 3 red- connotes death and parrallel to the subject matter of the front page- 7/7 attacks
  • Headline clearly evident- large to stand out and strike the reader
  • Large full spread image of bus blown away- powerful image- headline quite short only highlights number dead- picture does rest of the talking
  • The Sun- Rupert Murdoch- media mogul- promotes his hegemony wants readers to be shocked by the image thus buy his paper and read more about the issue
